Shopping Center Morumbi — São Paulo, Brazil
One of São Paulo's leading shopping centres undertook a fire system upgrade across 85,000 m² of retail and entertainment space. ASENWARE's FP300 addressable fire alarm control system replaced ageing conventional equipment across three floors of retail, food courts, a cinema complex, and underground parking. The project involved 1,600 addressable devices, a zoned voice alarm system with bilingual announcements, and full integration with the fire suppression sprinkler network. System documentation and operator interfaces were provided in Portuguese.
Codelco Copper Mining Facility — Atacama, Chile
A copper ore processing and smelting facility in the Atacama Desert required a rugged, explosion-proof fire and gas detection system for its processing zones. ASENWARE supplied ATEX-certified Ex d fire alarm panels, flame detectors, and gas detectors for the smelting furnace area, chemical storage, and electrical switchrooms. The weatherproof enclosures (IP66) were specified to withstand extreme temperature swings and dust exposure common in desert mining environments. The system covers 34 detection zones.
Torre Empresarial — Bogotá, Colombia
A landmark 30-storey corporate office tower in Bogotá's financial district was equipped with ASENWARE's FP200 addressable fire alarm system and centrally monitored emergency lighting. The fire alarm system provides individual device identification for all 720 detectors and 180 manual call points. The addressable emergency lighting system monitors every luminaire from a central controller, ensuring compliance with Colombian fire and life safety regulations (NSR-10). Staff were trained on the graphical operator workstation provided as part of the package.
Hospital Regional — Lima, Peru
A new regional hospital outside Lima required a fire protection system meeting hospital-grade reliability standards. ASENWARE provided the FP300 addressable system for the 12-floor main building and two ancillary wings, with a total of 980 addressable points. Gaseous suppression systems using clean agent FM-200 were installed in the operating theatres, ICU, server room, and pharmacy storage. The voice evacuation system provides patient-safe low-decibel alerts in wards while delivering full-volume evacuation tones in corridors and public areas.
Puerto Madero Waterfront Development — Buenos Aires, Argentina
A mixed-use waterfront regeneration project in Buenos Aires' Puerto Madero district required fire protection for four residential towers, a hotel, and commercial podium. ASENWARE supplied networked FP200 fire alarm panels for each tower, with a supervisory repeater panel in the central security control room. Fire hose reels and wet riser systems were installed throughout all buildings. The project required close coordination with Argentina's fire authority (Superintendencia Federal de Bomberos) to obtain installation approval.
